This section of my website will cover the Davidson and McIntosh families and their associated lines. Davidson was my mother's maiden name and as you will see from the The Mt Egerton Legacy page, this family has a long history in Australia, the Davidson and McIntosh families having arrived together aboard the "Lord Stanley" in June, 1854.
Given the bulk of content in this area of my website is the result of research undertaken and contacts made when we were in the process of compiling our book, The Egertonian - Kith & Kin of Our Clan Davidson which was published in 1995, there will obviously be information that may be incorrect and other information that will definitely need to be updated.

One of the wonderful things that resulted from the writing of our book was the re-connection that this provided my mother with so many of her cousins, some of whom she hadn't seen in many years.
